This past year marks a move towards more plein-air work with the East Suffolk group.

Painting outside allows me to truly see and feel the landscape. My colour and  value choices are more acurate. Meeting other artists and passerbys has been very enriching also. This scene was painted on West Quay in Wivenhoe September 2023
